not a support questionHi all! Please excuse, that I am writing english in this forum. I am from germany and english is the best way to communicate. :-)
I am installing wordpress with permalinks for a customer in denmark. Now I noticed that there are some special-chars which may cause some problems in the post-slugs.
ie.: if there is a "ø" or "æ" in the title. Is there a plugin, which changes this on the fly into "o" and "ae" and so on?
Would be happy to get a hint.

It shouldn't be a problem, if you install a Danish version of WordPress (latest release available at http://da.wordpress.org), which we have here at Online Minds, and that works

PS: I'm currently on Firefox 3 Beta 2, so it also works in enUS browsers.

Well Lars, personally I think the permalink you are showing is a problem. On my installation of WP it works differently, example: http://spiri.dk/2008/01/dr-net-tv-med-abne-standarder/
The Å is transformed into an A, I really prefer that instead of some obscure characters :). I don't know whether it's because I use the original English version of WP, but WP does it automatically. Anyway there's a plugin that will do that if WP doesn't do it by it self, it's called Slugger.
