Jeg har lidt problemer med en tricky kombination og jeg har ikke kunnet finde hverken en løsning på problemet eller alternativer.
Jeg har en side, der henter næste uges arrangementer fra en google calendar via plugin'et Google Calendar Events. Det kører dynamisk, så hver gang en bruger kigger på siden, viser den en uge frem. Siden holder jeg skjult lige nu for jeg har allerede embedded en google calendar og ingen grund til rendundans.
Jeg vil gerne have en mail med indholdet sendt ud til en mailliste, som jeg har liggende i Mailchimp, en gang om ugen, så tilmeldte brugere får "næste uges arrangementer".
Hvordan gør jeg så det?
Mailchimp har to muligheder indbygget:
1) Hiv en side og send den ud.
2) RSS to email
1) Jeg indtaster sideurl'en i mailchimp, som spytter al indhold (inklusiv menuer und alles) i mailen. Det er ikke kønt for jeg ville egentlig helst kun have indholdet/arrangementerne, men jeg kan leve med det.
Desværre er der ikke mulighed for at lave gentagelser, så jeg er nødt til at lave en kampagne for HVER uge, jeg vil sende mail ud. Det er lidt voldsomt.
2) RSS to email giver mulighed for at sende ud igen og igen og det opfylder mit behov. Desværre henter den kun opdateringer i feed'et, men der kommer jo ikke nye opdateringer for sideindholdet er jo dynamisk. Ergo vil Mailchimp ikke sende nye mails ud for der er ikke noget nyt.
Samtidig har jeg lidt problemer med at lave et feed baseret på én kategori (til den ene side), men det må være en detalje.
Giver det mening? Kan det lade sig gøre eller er der alternativer?
